Set SMARTER Goals

This week on Friday@4 we discuss looking at the BIG picture to identify and create better goals. Once you set goals you can reverse engineer the results to ensure success. Additional tips from psychology and habit research are discussed.

Make sure your goals are:

•  Specific – Can someone else understand what you are trying to achieve without explanation?

•  Measurable – Can you easily check off this has been completed YES or NO?

•  Attainable – Can you actually reach this goal in the time set?

•  Relevant/realistic – Will achieving this goal serve your bigger mission?

•  Time-based – What is the deadline?

•  Evaluate – Did you accomplish your goal?

•  Re-assess – Is something not working? Readjust and create an updated goal based on your evaluation.
